Influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo Dies at 43 Following Penis Enhancement Procedure in Thailand

British-Nigerian influencer and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, who was also known online as Denisi and Ego, has died at the age of 43 after suffering complications linked to a penis enhancement procedure in Thailand, according to findings presented at a UK coroner's inquest.

The coroner determined that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism, a serious condition in which blood vessels in the lungs become blocked. The embolism was linked to a cosmetic penile filler procedure carried out during a trip to Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

Evidence presented at the Inner West London Coroners' Court indicated that Ubiribo underwent a cosmetic enhancement procedure at a clinic in Thailand in March 2026. The treatment reportedly involved the injection of 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine into the penis.

Following the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife went for a massage. During the session, he began experiencing severe chest pain and reportedly fainted twice. He was transported by ambulance to Bangkok's Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism. Despite extensive medical efforts, including more than 100 minutes of CPR, he died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

Assistant Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that Ubiribo's death resulted from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure. A postmortem examination reportedly found material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the treatment, supporting the conclusion that the injections led to the fatal complication.

The ruling has renewed attention on the potential risks associated with cosmetic enhancement procedures performed abroad, particularly those involving injectable fillers. Medical experts have warned that such treatments can carry serious complications, including infection, loss of sensation, erectile dysfunction, scarring, and, in rare cases, life-threatening events.

Ubiribo had built a sizeable social media following, attracting approximately 185,000 Instagram followers through posts showcasing his luxury lifestyle, international travel, and business ventures. He frequently shared experiences from destinations including Paris, Bali, Cape Town, and other high-end locations around the world.

Friends, followers, and members of the broader Nigerian and British social scenes have paid tribute to the influencer following news of his death. He was remembered for his outgoing personality, lavish lifestyle, and close relationship with his wife, whom he married in Zimbabwe in 2022.

The tragedy has sparked wider discussion about the growing popularity of cosmetic procedures performed overseas. While many treatments are marketed as minimally invasive and relatively safe, medical professionals continue to stress the importance of understanding potential risks and seeking qualified medical advice before undergoing any elective procedure.

Ubiribo's death serves as a sobering reminder that even cosmetic procedures can carry severe and unexpected consequences.
