Amber Smith was born on March 2, 1971, in Tampa, Florida. She is an American actress and former fashion model. Amber Smith started modeling at the age of 16 and was represented by Irene Marie Models in Miami Beach. She later traveled to Paris, France, where she worked as a model throughout Europe for four years.

She gained recognition for her appearances in the 1993 and 1994 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and became Esquire magazine's first Vargas Girl of the 1990s. She also posed for the Wonderbra campaign and was the model for the 2002 lingerie campaign for Venus Victoria, the European sister company to Victoria's Secret.
