Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson, born on June 13, 1990, in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, is an English actor known for his versatile roles in film and television. He was born to Sarah, a homemaker, and Robert Johnson, a civil engineer. Aaron has a sister named Gemma, who had a small role in his film "Tom & Thomas."

From a young age, he showed a keen interest in performing arts and began acting at the age of six. He attended the Jackie Palmer Stage School in High Wycombe, where he studied drama, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and singing. He left school at 15 to pursue his acting career.

His career began with stage performances, including a London production of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth" in 1999 and Arthur Miller's "All My Sons" in 2000. He made his television debut in the early 2000s with roles in series such as "Feather Boy," "Talk to Me," and "Nearly Famous."

His film debut came with the British film "Tom & Thomas" in 2002, where he played dual roles. He gained recognition in Hollywood with his portrayal of a young Charlie Chaplin in "Shanghai Knights" (2003) and later appeared in films like "The Illusionist" (2006) and "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" (2008).

His breakthrough role came in 2009 when he played John Lennon in the biopic "Nowhere Boy," directed by Sam Taylor-Wood. This role earned him critical acclaim and led to his marriage to Sam in 2012. They have two daughters, Wylda Rae and Romy Hero, and Aaron is also a stepfather to Sam's two daughters from her previous marriage.

His career continued to flourish with leading roles in films such as "Kick-Ass" (2010) and its sequel "Kick-Ass 2" (2013), where he played the titular character. He also starred in the crime thriller "Savages" (2012), the period drama "Anna Karenina" (2012), and the monster film "Godzilla" (2014).

In 2015, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." His performance in the thriller "Nocturnal Animals" (2016) earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and a BAFTA nomination.
