Aarti Mann, born on March 3, 1978, in Connecticut, is an American actress and director known for her versatile roles in television and film. She was born as Aarti Majmudar to Indian immigrant parents who were both doctors. When Mann was still a toddler, the family moved to Pennsylvania, where she grew up.

Her mother, Vasanti Majmudar, is a gynecologist, and her father, who passed away while she was in high school, was a physician.

Her early years were spent moving between various towns in Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh, Mt. Lebanon, and eventually settling in Fox Chapel. Despite not having participated in plays during high school, she graduated from New York University with a degree in film writing and directing. It was during her time at NYU that she discovered her passion for acting.

Aarti Mann began her acting career in the mid-2000s, using both her real name and her stage name, Aarti Mann. Her older sister, Kruti, who briefly worked as a filmmaker, had a significant influence on her decision to pursue acting. Kruti cast Mann in her sole producer-director effort, The Memsahib, which aired at film festivals in 2006. This experience led Mann to enroll in acting classes in Los Angeles.

Her career took off with guest appearances in television series such as Heroes (2009), The Young and the Restless (2010), and a recurring role as Priya Koothrappali in the popular CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory (2010-2011).

She has also appeared in various other shows, including Leverage (2012), Suits (2013), Suits (2013), NCIS: New Orleans (2015), and Grey's Anatomy (2017).

In recent years, Aarti Mann has continued to make her mark in the industry with roles in the Netflix spy-adventure series The Recruit (2022), where she stars as CIA lawyer Violet Ebner as well as a role in the Netflix series, Never Have I Ever (2020). In her personal life, Aarti Mann is married to Purvesh Mankad, a finance specialist. They have one child, a daughter named Nikita.
