Aarti Mann began her acting career in the mid-2000s, using both her real name and her stage name, Aarti Mann. Her older sister, Kruti, who briefly worked as a filmmaker, had a significant influence on her decision to pursue acting. Kruti cast Mann in her sole producer-director effort, The Memsahib, which aired at film festivals in 2006. This experience led Mann to enroll in acting classes in Los Angeles.
