Amanda Baker, born Laura Amanda Baker on December 22, 1979, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is an American actress best known for her roles in daytime television soaps.

Raised in Charleston, she earned a degree in business marketing with a minor in fashion merchandising from the University of South Carolina before pursuing acting, marking her entry into television with guest spots like Charlotte on One Tree Hill in 2004 and Gina in the TV movie Locusts in 2005.

Her early career included roles such as Callah O'Connell in the series Palmetto Pointe, Betsy in Hello Sister, Goodbye Life, and the Wardrobe Girl in Surface, building her resume in both scripted shows and films.

Amanda Baker gained prominence in 2007 as Jolene Crowell on General Hospital: Night Shift, a spin-off portraying a ambitious nurse entangled in hospital drama. That same year, she took over the recast role of Arbella "Babe" Carey Chandler on All My Children, debuting on October 8, 2007, in a seamless transition from predecessor Alexa Havins, and continued until October 31, 2008, with ghostly returns on June 4 and 29, 2009.

The daughter of D. F. Keels Baker and Laura Baker, she also appeared as Melanie on Campus Ladies, Meghan on Rules of Engagement in 2010, and Houdini Girl #2 in the V/H/S: Viral segment "Dante the Great" in 2014.​
