Amanda Seyfried, born Amanda Michelle Seyfried on December 3, 1985, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She began her career as a child model at the age of 11 and transitioned to acting at 15, with recurring roles on the CBS soap opera "As the World Turns" and the ABC soap opera "All My Children."

Her feature film debut came in the teen comedy "Mean Girls" (2004), which helped her gain widespread recognition.

She continued to build her career with roles in films such as "Mamma Mia!" (2008) and its sequel "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" (2018), "Jennifer's Body" (2009), "Dear John" (2010), "Red Riding Hood" (2011), "Les Misérables" (2012), and "Ted 2" (2015).
