Ann Sheridan was initially known as the "Oomph Girl," a nickname she disliked, but she quickly rose to prominence with her roles in films like "San Quentin" (1937) with Humphrey Bogart, "Angels with Dirty Faces" (1938) with James Cagney and Bogart, and "Kings Row" (1942) with Ronald Reagan.
