Anna Camp

Anna Ragsdale Camp was born on September 27, 1982, in Aiken, South Carolina, to Dee, a Democratic Party volunteer, and Thomas Sewell Camp, a bank executive. She developed an early interest in acting during elementary school and pursued her passion academically by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2004.

After graduation, she relocated to New York City to embark on a professional acting career, quickly making a name for herself in theater, television, and film.

Her career took off with notable performances on stage, including playing Jill Mason in the 2008 Broadway revival of Peter Shaffer's "Equus."
