Anne Schedeen

Anne Schedeen, born Luanne Ruth Schedeen on January 8, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, is an American actress best known for her role as Kate Tanner on the popular NBC sitcom ALF, which aired from 1986 to 1990.

Her journey into the entertainment industry began as a way to overcome childhood shyness, with acting lessons starting at the tender age of six. She studied and performed with the Portland Civic Theatre and later moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.

Her first professional acting job was performing with a dinner theater on the Kauai island of Hawaii.
