Her career took off when she joined the CBS soap opera "As the World Turns" as Julia Snyder from 1998 to 2001, earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her role. Her performance on the show brought her into the limelight, setting the stage for future success.

She is perhaps best known for portraying Alexandra Borgia on the NBC legal drama series "Law & Order" during seasons 15 and 16, a role that left a significant mark due to her character's tragic end.
