Ariana Grande-Butera, known professionally as Ariana Grande, was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida. She is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, noted for her four-octave vocal range and her signature use of the whistle register.

She is regarded as a pop icon and an influential figure in popular music.

Her parents are Joan Grande and Edward Butera. Her parents separated when she was eight or nine years old. She has an older half-brother, Frankie Grande, who is also an entertainer and producer.
