Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman on January 28, 1998, in Fairfax, Virginia, is an American actress best known for her role as Alex Dunphy in the ABC sitcom Modern Family.

She started her career at a very young age, appearing in commercials and television shows like Listen Up, Bones, and ER. Her big break came when she was cast as Alex Dunphy, a role that earned her and her castmates four consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to her work on Modern Family, she has voiced characters in several animated series and films, including Phineas and Ferb, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Sofia the First.

She also voiced Penny Peterson in the animated film Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Her film credits include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Speed Racer, and The Chaperone, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award.
