Beth Ostrosky Stern, born on July 15, 1972, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American actress, author, model, and animal rights activist. She grew up in a Roman Catholic household with her mother, Judy, a former model, and her father, Robert, a dentist. 

She attended Fox Chapel High School and later studied at the University of Pittsburgh for three years before leaving to pursue a modeling career in New York City.

Her career began with modeling, where she gained recognition for her work in various magazines and campaigns. She made her film debut in 1996 with a role in "Flirting with Disaster" and later appeared in the film "Whipped" in 2000.

Beth Ostrosky also had roles in television series such as "All My Children" and hosted shows like "Filter" and "Casino Cinema." Her work in the entertainment industry extended to hosting the National Geographic reality television show "Spoiled Rotten Pets" in 2013 and the annual "Kitten Bowl" on the Hallmark Channel.

In addition to her acting career, she is a successful author. She wrote "Oh My Dog: How to Choose, Train, Groom, Nurture, Feed, and Care for Your New Best Friend," which reached number five on The New York Times Best Seller list of paperback advice books in 2010. 

She also authored children's books, including "Yoda: The Story of a Cat and his Kittens" and its sequel "Yoda Gets a Buddy," with proceeds supporting Bianca's Furry Friends, a cage-free animal shelter at the North Shore Animal League.

Her personal life has been marked by her marriage to radio personality Howard Stern. The couple began dating in 2000, got engaged in 2007, and married on October 3, 2008, in New York City. They primarily reside in the Town of Southampton on Long Island, with additional homes in Manhattan and Palm Beach, Florida.

Throughout her career, she has received recognition for her work in both the entertainment industry and animal welfare. She has been featured on the covers of several magazines, including FHM, and was voted among FHM's 100 Sexiest Women of the Year multiple times.
