Beulah Quo, born Beulah Ong on April 17, 1923, in Stockton, California, was an American actress and activist. She changed the spelling of her last name from Kwoh to Quo because people often asked if Kwoh was a radio station.

Beulah Quo earned a bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a master's degree from the University of Chicago. She met her husband, Edwin Sih-Ung Kwoh, while completing her master's degree, and they married in 1946. They had two children, Stewart Kwoh and Mary Ellen Shu.

She began her acting career in the mid-1950s and appeared in over 100 television shows and films. She is best known for her roles in "Chinatown" (1974) as a maid, "Brokedown Palace" (1999) as Guard Velie, and "Girls! Girls! Girls!" (1962) as Madam Yung.

She also had a notable role in the television series "General Hospital," where she played the housekeeper Olin from 1985 to 1991.

Beulah Quo was a passionate advocate for better representation of Asian actors in the entertainment industry. She co-founded the East-West Players, an Asian-American theatre company in Los Angeles, in 1965.

She also founded the Association of Asian/Pacific American Artists to promote unbiased representation of Asian-American performers on screen.

Beulah Quo passed away on October 23, 2002, in La Mesa, California, from heart failure.
