Bridgette Wilson was born on September 25, 1973, in Gold Beach, Oregon, to Kathy and Dale Wilson. She gained her first taste of fame in 1990 when she was crowned Miss Teen USA. After her reign, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, landing her first role on the soap opera "Santa Barbara" in 1992.

Her film debut came the following year in "Last Action Hero," where she played Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, Whitney Slater. Bridgette's career took off with roles in films like "Higher Learning" (1995), "Mortal Kombat" (1995), and "Billy Madison" (1995), where she played Adam Sandler's love interest, Veronica Vaughn.

She continued to work in both television and film, appearing in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (1997), "House on Haunted Hill" (1999), and "The Wedding Planner" (2001). Bridgette's last film role was in "Phantom Punch" (2008) before she retired from acting.

In addition to her acting career, Bridgette is also a singer and songwriter. She released two albums, "Gimme a Kiss" and "I Only Want to Be with You." Her personal life includes her marriage to tennis legend Pete Sampras in 2000.

The couple has two sons, Christian Charles and Ryan Nikolaos. They reside in Lake Sherwood, California. In December 2022, Bridgette Wilson was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and she has been undergoing treatment since then.
