Brooklyn Nelson is an American actress who has gained recognition for her work in theater and voice acting. She was born in 2003 or 2004 in Huntington, West Virginia, to Tara and Todd Nelson. She grew up with a younger sister named Lacey. 

She discovered her passion for performing at the age of eight when she participated in a local theater production of "The Little Mermaid Jr." Her early experiences in community theater inspired her to pursue a career in acting.

Brooklyn Nelson made her professional debut on Broadway in 2015 as a swing in "Matilda the Musical," where she covered multiple roles, including Lavender and Amanda Thripp. Her dedication and talent were evident as she rehearsed extensively to master the choreography and music.

In 2018, she gained widespread acclaim for originating the role of young Elsa in the Broadway adaptation of Disney's "Frozen." She had previously played the role during the show's pre-Broadway tryout in Denver in 2017. Her performance as young Elsa received praise for its emotional depth and authenticity. She has also lent her voice to animated films, including the English dubs of "Fireworks" and "Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms."
