Carly Rae Jepsen, born on November 21, 1985, in Mission, British Columbia, Canada, is a renowned Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician. Known for her captivating voice and catchy tunes, Jepsen has made a significant impact on the global music scene.

Her journey into music began at a young age. Her father would sing James Taylor songs to her before bed, sparking her interest in music. She studied musical theatre throughout her school life and university years. Her talent was recognized when she placed third on the fifth season of Canadian Idol in 2007.
