Celeste Yarnall, born Celeste Jeanne Yarnall on July 26, 1944, in Long Beach, California, was an American actress known for her roles in the 1960s and 1970s. She began her career on television, appearing on "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" before transitioning to feature films.
She was named Miss Rheingold in 1964, the last person to hold that title, and modeled in TV commercials. Her film debut came in "The Nutty Professor" (1963), and she gained further recognition at the 1967 Cannes Film Festival, where she was spotted by producer Harry Alan Towers and cast in the film "Eve".
Celeste Yarnall is perhaps best known for her role as Yeoman Martha Landon in the "Star Trek: The Original Series" episode "The Apple" (1967). She also appeared in "Live a Little, Love a Little" (1968) opposite Elvis Presley, where she famously prompted him to sing "A Little Less Conversation".
Her career included roles in "Beast of Blood" (1971), where she was a "scream queen" terrorized by a headless monster, and "The Velvet Vampire" (1971), where she played a vampire seductress.
