Céline Marie Claudette Dion, born on March 30, 1968, is a Canadian singer renowned for her powerful and technically skilled vocals. Often referred to as the "Queen of Power Ballads," Dion's music incorporates genres such as pop, rock, R&B, gospel, and classical music.

She has sung in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Latin, Japanese, and Chinese.

Born into a large family in Charlemagne, Quebec, she was the youngest of 14 children. Her parents, Thérèse Tanguay and Adhémar Dion, were both of French descent.

The Dion family was musically inclined, and Celine began singing with them when she was just five years old. At the age of 12, she wrote her first song, "Ce n'était qu'un rêve," with the help of her mother and brother Jacques. This song marked the beginning of her career.

Her relationship with her manager, René Angélil, began when she was 19. They got married in 1994 and had three sons: René-Charles, and twins Nelson and Eddy. René Angélil passed away in 2016 from cancer. Since his death, she has not been in any public relationships.

Her career took off when she won the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland with "Ne partez pas sans moi". Her debut English-language album, Unison (1990), established her as a viable pop artist primarily in North America and several English-speaking markets.

Her global superstardom came with the release of The Colour of My Love (1993). She continued her success throughout the 1990s with several of the bestselling English-language albums in history, such as Falling into You (1996) and Let's Talk About Love (1997).

She also released a series of international number-one hits, including "The Power of Love", "Think Twice", "To Love You More", "Because You Loved Me", "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", "I'm Your Angel", "That's the Way It Is", "I'm Alive" and "My Heart Will Go On", the theme for the 1997 film Titanic.
