Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth was born on August 11, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia. He grew up with his two brothers, Luke and Liam, who are also actors. His mother, Leonie, was an English teacher, and his father, Craig, worked as a social-services counselor.

Chris spent his childhood both in Melbourne and in the Outback in Bulman, Northern Territory, where he developed a love for adventure and nature. He attended Heathmont College before his family moved to Phillip Island.

He began his acting career with small roles in Australian television series such as Guinevere Jones, Neighbours, and Marshall Law. He gained popularity with his role as Kim Hyde in the soap opera Home and Away, which he played from 2004 to 2007.

His breakthrough in Hollywood came when he was cast as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He first appeared as Thor in the 2011 film of the same name and reprised the role in several subsequent films, including The Avengers series and Thor sequels. He also starred in other notable films such as Snow White and the Huntsman, Rush, and Men in Black: International.

In his personal life, he married Spanish actress Elsa Pataky in 2010. The couple has three children together: a daughter named India Rose, born in 2012, and twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, born in 2014.
