Christina Vidal is an American actress and singer born on November 18, 1981, in Whitestone, Queens, New York City. She is the daughter of Manny Vidal, a tax consultant and businessman, and Josie Vidal, a secretary, both of Puerto Rican ancestry.

Christina Vidal attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where she discovered her passion for performing. At the age of 17, she joined a girl group called Gemstone, alongside Jade Villalon and Crystal Grant.

Her acting career began when one of her teachers informed her about an audition for the film "Life with Mikey" (1993), starring Michael J. Fox. She landed the role of Angie Vega, becoming the first Puerto Rican child actress to play a lead role in a U.S. film.

Since then, she has appeared in numerous feature films and television series. She is best known for her role as Taina Maria Morales in the Nickelodeon sitcom "Taina" (2001-2002), as well as her performances in films like "Freaky Friday" (2003), "See No Evil" (2006), and "The Guilty" (2021).

Christina Vidal has also ventured into music. While in the band Gemstone, she recorded several songs, some of which were later included in albums by her bandmate Jade Villalon's music project, Sweetbox. Her television credits include roles in "Code Black" (2015-2016) as Gina Perrello, "Training Day" (2017) as Detective Valeria Chavez, and "Primo" (2023) as Drea.

Christina Vidal has been married to Marcus Mitchell since September 25, 2016, and they have two children. Her younger sisters, Lisa and Tanya, are also actresses, and they have occasionally worked together on projects.
