Clinton Eastwood Jr., known as Clint Eastwood, was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California, USA. He is an American actor, director, producer, and composer. His career has spanned over 65 years, beginning with small uncredited film roles and television appearances.

His big break came in 1959 when he was cast as Rowdy Yates in the popular TV western Rawhide. His breakout film role was as the Man with No Name in the Sergio Leone-directed Dollars Trilogy.

In 1971, Clint Eastwood made his directorial debut with Play Misty for Me. He also starred as San Francisco police inspector Harry Callahan in Dirty Harry. Eastwood has acted in multiple television series and has appeared in over 60 films. He received the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Picture for his 1992 western Unforgiven.
