Cristina Vee

Cristina Vee, born Cristina Danielle Valenzuela on July 11, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, is an American voice actress known for her work in anime, animation, and video games. She grew up in Norwalk, California, and attended public schools there.

One of her early interests was music, and she participated in the Norwalk All City band while in middle school and high school. However, her passion for acting and animation led her classmates to call her the "Sailor Moon girl," and she went on to co-found the first anime club at John Glenn High School.

Cristina Vee studied theatre arts at California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated in 2007. She made her voice acting debut in 2005 and has since provided voices for numerous characters in anime, animation, and video games.

Some of her notable roles include Louise in The Familiar of Zero, Nanoha Takamachi in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, Mio Akiyama in K-On!, and Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

In video games, she voices the titular character and her arch-nemesis Risky Boots in the Shantae series, Velvet Crowe in Tales of Berseria, and Riven in League of Legends.

Cristina Vee is married to Michael Espero, an American epidemiologist, and the couple walked down the aisle in January 2022. They do not have any children as of now. She was previously engaged to Nathan Sharp, an American musician and voice actor, but they called off their engagement in August 2018.

Cristina Vee has also been involved in live-action roles, such as portraying Haruhi Suzumiya in the live-action The Adventures of the ASOS Brigade. She has also co-hosted AnimeTV with Johnny Yong Bosch and voiced characters in various web series, including Verosika Mayday in Helluva Boss and Fwench Fwy in Chikn Nuggit.
