Emily Osment is an American actress, singer, and songwriter born on March 10, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. She is the younger sister of actor Haley Joel Osment and the daughter of actor Michael Eugene Osment and Theresa Osment, an English teacher. She began her career as a child actress, appearing in numerous television shows and films.

She gained recognition for her role as Gerti Giggles in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams in 2002 and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over in 2003. She is best known for her role as Lilly Truscott on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana, which aired from 2006 to 2011, and its spin-off film Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.

In the 2010s, she starred as Taylor Hillridge in the television film Cyberbully in 2011, Roxie on the streaming series Cleaners from 2013 to 2014, and Gabi Diamond on the Freeform television series Young & Hungry from 2014 to 2018.
