Eminem

Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem, was born on October 17, 1972, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer.

Eminem is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time and is credited with popularizing hip hop in Middle America. He had a turbulent childhood, marked by poverty and allegations of abuse. At age 14, he began rapping in clubs in Detroit, Michigan, and eventually dropped out of school to pursue a career in music.

His career took off when he signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment in 1998. His breakthrough came with the release of The Slim Shady LP in 1999, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. This was followed by The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000 and The Eminem Show in 2002, both of which were critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

His music often includes controversial and provocative lyrics, reflecting his personal struggles and experiences.

Eminem has released numerous hit songs throughout his career, including "The Real Slim Shady," "Without Me," "Lose Yourself," "Not Afraid," and "Love the Way You Lie." His song "Lose Yourself" from the movie 8 Mile won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, making him the first hip hop artist to receive this honor. Eminem has also been a member of the hip hop groups D12 and Bad Meets Evil.
