Erica Hubbard is an American actress and model who was born on January 2, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in Chicago and attended Columbia College, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Theater, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in just three years.

Erica Hubbard began her career at a young age, appearing in commercials for brands like McDonald's, Reebok, Sears, and Kellogg's. She also did voice-overs and starred in magazine ads for Noxzema in 1997.

Her career took off when she started hosting her own television show, "Up 'N Running," on WPWR, a UPN affiliate in Chicago. By the time the third season had started airing, she had already won a Regional Emmy award for hosting the show and earned a Service to America Award from the National Association of Broadcasters.

She has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including "Save the Last Dance," "A Cinderella Story," "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," and "Akeelah and the Bee."
