Hallie Todd

Hallie Todd, born on January 7, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress known for her versatile roles on television and in films. She is the daughter of actress Ann Morgan Guilbert and writer/producer George Eckstein. She attended Palisades Charter High School and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, where she honed her acting skills.

Her career began in 1976 with her first TV series role as Emma Higgins in the Western television series "Sara." She gained recognition for her role as Penny Waters on the Showtime comedy series "Brothers," which earned her two ACE nominations for Best Supporting Actress on a Comedy Series.

Her longest-lasting role was as Jo McGuire on Disney's hit series "Lizzie McGuire," for which she was named one of the "Top Ten TV Moms of All Time" by CNN Entertainment.
