Halston Sage, born Halston Jean Schrage on May 10, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress known for her roles in both television and film. She began her career with a guest appearance on the Nickelodeon series "How to Rock" in 2012, playing the role of Grace.

She gained further recognition for her role as Amber on the NBC series "Crisis" in 2014 and as Alara Kitan on the Fox series "The Orville" from 2017 to 2019. She has also appeared in films such as "Paper Towns" (2015), "Goosebumps" (2015), and "Before I Fall" (2017).

Halston Sage grew up in Los Angeles and has a younger brother and sister. She is of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, with family roots in Riga, Latvia, and Ukraine, Poland, and Romania. She is an award-winning equestrian who rode horses competitively for eight years. She attended an all-girls school and has a passion for eighties movies, often sharing her love for them on social media.

Her recent work includes starring in the 2023 film "The List," where she played the lead role of Abby, and "Daughter of the Bride," where she portrayed Kate alongside Marcia Gay Harden.
