Hannah Einbinder

Hannah Einbinder is an American comedian, actress, and writer known for her role in the HBO Max series Hacks. She was born on May 21, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Laraine Newman, an original cast member of Saturday Night Live, and Chad Einbinder, a comedy writer.

Hannah grew up in a Jewish family and has a sibling named Spike Einbinder. She attended Beverly Hills High School and later graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in television writing and production.

Her career began to take off in 2019 when she appeared in the Just for Laughs festival's New Faces showcase. She was named one of the standout comedians to watch by National Public Radio and Vulture.

In March 2020, she made her national television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, becoming the youngest person to perform a stand-up set on the show at that time. Her big break came in 2021 when she co-starred as Ava Daniels in Hacks, a role that earned her nominations for three Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.

The show received critical acclaim and was renewed for multiple seasons.

Hannah Einbinder has also appeared in other television shows and movies. She played a waitress in the film North Hollywood and had roles in TV series such as RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, History of the World, Part II, and Strange Planet. She continues to perform stand-up comedy and has toured nationally.
