Harry Edward Styles was born on February 1, 1994, in Redditch, Worcestershire, England. He is the son of Anne Twist and Desmond Styles. He has an older sister named Gemma. His parents divorced when he was seven years old, and he was raised by his mother in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Harry Styles attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he was the lead singer of a band called White Eskimo.

In 2010, he auditioned for the British music competition show The X Factor. Although he was eliminated as a solo contestant, he was brought back to join a group with four other contestants.

This group became known as One Direction. One Direction quickly gained popularity and became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. They released five albums together before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.

Harry Styles began his solo career in 2017 with the release of his self-titled debut album. The album debuted at number one in the UK and the US, and its lead single, "Sign of the Times," topped the UK Singles Chart.

His second album, Fine Line, was released in 2019 and also achieved great success. The album's fourth single, "Watermelon Sugar," topped the US Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, he  released his third album, Harry's House, which received critical acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2023.

In addition to his music career, Harry Styles has also pursued acting. He made his acting debut in the 2017 film Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan. He has also appeared in the films Don't Worry Darling and My Policeman, both released in 2022.

Harry Styles has received numerous awards throughout his career, including six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, three American Music Awards, and three MTV Video Music Awards.

He is widely regarded as one of the most influential men in music and fashion.
