He is best known for his role as Sheldon Cooper in the television series Young Sheldon, a prequel to The Big Bang Theory. His parents are Euan Morton, a British actor, and Lee Armitage, an American theater producer. His grandfather, Richard Armitage, served as the United States Deputy Secretary of State.
