Isabella Hofmann began her career with the comedy troupe The Second City before making her television debut in 1986. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Kate McCarron in the NBC sitcom "Dear John" (1988-1992), Megan Russert in "Homicide: Life on the Street" (1994-1997), and Dr. Renee Dunseith in "Providence" (2001-2002).

Her career spans several decades, and she has appeared in numerous television shows and movies. Some of her notable television credits include Meredith Cavanaugh on "JAG," Cecile Malone on "Beggars and Choosers," and Clarissa Stein in "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow".
