Jane Withers began her entertainment career at the age of three and quickly gained recognition for her talent. She moved to Hollywood with her mother in 1932 and landed her breakthrough role as the spoiled Joy Smythe in the 1934 film "Bright Eyes," opposite Shirley Temple.
