Jennifer Tilly, born Jennifer Ellen Chan on September 16, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, is an American-Canadian actress and professional poker player. She is known for her distinctive breathy voice and comedic timing, which have made her a favorite in both film and television.

She began her acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in small roles on TV shows like "Oh Madeline" and "Hill Street Blues." Her breakthrough came with a supporting role in Woody Allen's "Bullets Over Broadway" (1994), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Jennifer Tilly is perhaps best known for her role as Tiffany Valentine in the "Bride of Chucky" film series, which revitalized the "Child's Play" franchise and established her as a horror icon.
