Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian, and writer born on March 25, 1982, in Milton, Massachusetts. She gained early recognition for her live variety shows in New York City and for co-creating, writing, and producing the children's short film and book series "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" (2010–present).
Jenny Slate became widely known as a cast member on the 35th season of the NBC sketch comedy series "Saturday Night Live" between 2009 and 2010.
