Jodie Lee Ann Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982, in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on the ABC comedy series "Full House" and its Netflix sequel "Fuller House." 

Her early life was marked by tragedy as her biological parents were sent to prison when she was an infant, and she was adopted by her uncle Sam Sweetin and his wife Janice. Her father died in a prison riot, and she was raised as an only child.

Jodie Sweetin began her career by appearing in several national commercials, including one for the restaurant chain Sizzler in 1987. She was cast as Stephanie Tanner in "Full House" when she was just five years old and played the role until the show ended in 1995.

After "Full House," she continued to work in television, hosting the Fuse dance competition show "Pants-Off Dance-Off" and starring in the television pilot "Small Bits of Happiness," which won Best Comedy at the 3rd Annual Independent Television Festival in Los Angeles.

She reprised her role as Stephanie Tanner on "Fuller House," which ran for five seasons from 2016 to 2020. She also starred in the unscripted docu-comedy series "Hollywood Darlings" from 2017 to 2018.

Jodie Sweetin has been married four times. Her first marriage was to Los Angeles police officer Shaun Holguin in 2002, but they divorced in 2006. She then married Cody Herpin in 2007, and they divorced in 2010.

Her third marriage was to Morty Coyle in 2012, but they divorced in 2016. She married Mescal Wasilewski in 2022, and she has spoken about how supportive and wonderful he is.
