Julie Piekarski was born on January 2, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, and is best known for her role as Sue Ann Weaver on the popular TV series "The Facts of Life." She began her career as a Mouseketeer on "The New Mickey Mouse Club" in 1977, which gave her the initial exposure and recognition.

Her performance on the show led to her being cast in "The Facts of Life," where she became a beloved character. However, when the show decided to retool, she and several other cast members were let go, although she did make occasional appearances in later seasons and a reunion episode in 1986.

After her time on "The Facts of Life," she continued to work in television, making guest appearances on shows like "Diff'rent Strokes," "General Hospital," "Quincy, M.E.," and "Three's Company."

She also had a brief stint as an entertainment reporter on KPLR-TV in St. Louis. Julie was married to dentist John Probst from 1986 until 2017, and they had three children together. They lived near St. Louis, and Julie has been very close to her children.

In recent years, Julie Piekarski has continued to pursue acting roles, appearing in productions like "The Importance of Doubting Tom" and "Pilot Season."
