KaDee Strickland, born Katherine Dee Strickland on December 14, 1975, in Patterson, Georgia, is an American actress recognized for her versatile roles in film and television.

She began her acting career in high school and later studied in Philadelphia and New York City, securing small parts in projects like The Sixth Sense in 1999, where she appeared as a visitor, and Girl, Interrupted alongside Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie.

Her early stage work included productions such as A Requiem for Things Past and Women of Manhattan, while television guest spots on All My Children and Law & Order: Criminal Intent helped her transition from waitressing to professional acting.​

KaDee Strickland gained prominence in 2004 with lead roles in horror films, portraying Sam Rogers in Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid and Susan Williams in The Grudge, earning her the nickname "newest scream queen" despite mixed reviews.

She followed these with a well-received performance as Robin in the 2005 romantic comedy Fever Pitch opposite Jimmy Fallon, and brief appearances in films like Something's Gotta Give and The Stepford Wives. Her filmography also includes supporting roles in American Gangster, The Family That Preys, and later works such as Grand Isle in 2019 and The Time Capsule in 2022.​

On television, she starred as Annie Bell in the short-lived series The Wedding Bells in 2007 before joining the cast of Private Practice as Dr. Charlotte King, a urologic surgeon and sexologist, appearing in 111 episodes from 2007 to 2013.

She later took on main roles in Secrets and Lies in 2015, Shut Eye from 2016 to 2017, and Cruel Summer's second season in 2023 as Debbie Landry, reuniting with former Private Practice co-stars. In 2024, she joined Chicago Fire in a recurring role as Monica Pascal during its thirteenth season.​

KaDee Strickland married actor Jason Behr on November 10, 2006, after meeting on the set of The Grudge, and they have one child together. She received the University of the Arts Silver Star Alumni Award in 2006 and has been praised for her range across genres, from horror and comedy to dramatic television series.​
