Kelli Williams, born Kelli Renee Williams on June 8, 1970, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress and director. She is the daughter of actress Shannon Wilcox and plastic surgeon John Williams, and she has one brother and two half-brothers.
Kelli Williams began her career in commercials as a baby and was discovered by her agent while performing in a high school production of "Romeo and Juliet." She attended Lycée Français de Los Angeles and Beverly Hills High School, where she was active in the performing arts department.
Her career took off with guest roles in television series such as "Beauty and the Beast" (1989), "The Case of the Hillside Stranglers" (1989), and "Elvis" (1990). She made her feature film debut in "Zapped Again!" (1990) and continued to work in both television and film, appearing in "There Goes My Baby" (1994), "Quantum Leap" (1990), and "The Young Riders" (1991).
Her most prominent role came in the ABC legal drama "The Practice" (1997-2003), where she played lawyer Lindsay Dole Donnell, earning her a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Satellite Award nomination.
