Kristin Herrera, born Kristin Lisa Herrera on February 21, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress best known for her role as Dana Cruz on the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 and as Lourdes Del Torro on General Hospital.

She comes from a diverse background, with Mexican and Puerto Rican heritage, and speaks fluent Spanish. She grew up with two older brothers, Ryan and Justin, and a younger sister, Ashley. She attended Hillcrest Christian School in Granada Hills, Los Angeles.

Kristin Herrera began her acting career at a very young age, appearing in commercials from the age of six. Her first television role was in a phone service commercial, and she went on to play minor roles in shows like NYPD Blue, 7th Heaven, The Bernie Mac Show, and ER.

In 2004, at the age of 15, she landed her breakout role as Dana Cruz in Zoey 101, where she appeared in all 13 episodes of the first season. Despite her success, her character was written out of the series after the first season due to personal issues and difficulties with her lines.

Kristin Herrera also appeared in the feature film Freedom Writers alongside Hilary Swank, playing the role of Gloria Munez. She continued to work in television, appearing in shows like General Hospital and Without a Trace. However, in 2008, she decided to step away from acting to explore other opportunities in life.

Her personal life has seen its share of ups and downs. She announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Daniel Novak in 2016, but the engagement ended shortly afterward.

They rekindled their relationship and got engaged again in 2020, eventually marrying on October 26, 2022. On November 17, 2021, she announced that she was pregnant with their first child, and she gave birth to their son on May 23, 2022.
