Lark Voorhies

Lark Voorhies, born Lark Holloway on March 25, 1974, in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American actress best known for her role as Lisa Turtle on the NBC sitcom "Saved by the Bell" from 1989 to 1993.

She adopted the stage name "Voorhies" later in life. Her mother named her "Lark" after a character in the 1972 film "Cool Breeze." By the time she was two years old, her family had moved to Pasadena, California, where her mother took her to a talent agent, believing she was a natural-born performer.

Lark Voorhies began acting at the age of two but took a break until she was more comfortable in front of the cameras. She made her acting debut on an episode of "Small Wonder" in 1988 and later landed the role of Lisa Turtle in "Good Morning, Miss Bliss," which was retooled and renamed "Saved by the Bell" by NBC.

Lark Voorhies has been married twice, first to Miguel Coleman in 1996, with whom she has a son, and later to Jimmy Green in 2015, though both marriages ended in divorce.
