LeToya Nicole Luckett-Coles, born on March 11, 1981, in Houston, Texas, is an American R&B singer, actress, and entrepreneur. She rose to fame as a founding member of the legendary girl group Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.

Her journey in the music industry began at a young age, singing in her local church and performing in school plays. Her talent caught the attention of Beyoncé's father, Mathew Knowles, who helped her join Destiny's Child in 1993.
