Liv Tyler, born Liv Rundgren on July 1, 1977, in New York City, is an American actress known for her versatile roles in film and television. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting, making her film debut in "Silent Fall" (1994).

Liv Tyler gained critical recognition for her roles in "Heavy" (1995), "Stealing Beauty" (1996), and "Inventing the Abbotts" (1997). Her performance as Arwen in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy (2001-2003) brought her worldwide fame.

Her career continued to flourish with roles in "Jersey Girl" (2004), "The Strangers" (2008), and "The Incredible Hulk" (2008), where she played Betty Ross. She has also appeared in television series such as "The Leftovers" (2014-2017) and "9-1-1: Lone Star" (2020).
