Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born on August 9, 1972, in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an American actress known for her versatile roles on television and in films. Her family moved to Tampa, Florida when she was two years old, and she later graduated from George D. Chamberlain High School in Tampa.

She then attended the University of South Florida, where she took acting lessons. Liz Vassey began her acting career at the age of nine, performing in over fifty musicals and plays. Her first notable television role came when she was sixteen, playing Emily Ann Sago on the soap opera "All My Children," which earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination.

Liz Vassey is perhaps best known for her role as Wendy Simms on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," where she appeared from 2005 to 2010 and was promoted to a regular cast member starting in the tenth season.
