Lori Saunders

Lori Saunders, born Linda Marie Hines on October 4, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American actress best known for her role as Bobbie Jo Bradley on the television series "Petticoat Junction."

She began her career at the age of 19, appearing in multiple episodes of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" under her real name. She later adopted the stage name Linda Saunders to avoid confusion with another actress on "Petticoat Junction," Linda Henning.

Her career took off when she replaced Pat Woodell in the role of Bobbie Jo Bradley on "Petticoat Junction" in 1965. She also appeared in other popular CBS rural sitcoms of the 1960s, including "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Green Acres," often crossing over between the shows. After "Petticoat Junction" ended in 1970, she continued to work in television, playing Betsy McGuire on the short-lived series "Dusty's Trail" (1973-1974).

Lori Saunders appeared in several films, including "Blood Bath" (1966) and "The Girls on the Beach" (1965). She also had a brief music career with her "Petticoat Junction" co-stars, releasing singles as the singing group "The Girls from Petticoat Junction."

Lori Saunders married Bernard Sandler in 1961, and they have two children together. She retired from acting in 1980 and has since enjoyed a quieter life, focusing on her hobbies such as photography, art sculpture, and oil painting. She continues to live in Southern California with her husband.
