Madison Hu was born on June 2, 2002, in Longview, Texas, to Chinese immigrant parents. She has an older brother who was born in China. When Madison was just two years old, her family moved to Southern California, where she began her journey in the entertainment industry.

Madison Hu started acting at a very young age, securing a manager by the time she was six years old. Her first notable role came in 2011 when she appeared on the Disney Channel series "I Kid with Brad Garrett".

Her career took off when she landed a recurring role as Marci on the Disney Channel series "Best Friends Whenever" in 2015. She then gained widespread recognition for her leading role as Frankie Wong on the Disney Channel series "Bizaardvark" from 2016 to 2019.

Following her success on "Bizaardvark," she appeared in the science fiction film "Voyagers," released in April 2021. In 2023, she starred in two horror films, "Night Shift" and "The Boogeyman".

Most recently, she has been cast in the recurring role of Grace in the American action comedy drama series "The Brothers Sun," which premiered in January 2024.

Her personal life is just as vibrant as her career. She met Olivia Rodrigo while auditioning for "Bizaardvark," and the two struck up an instant friendship that translated into their co-lead roles as best friends on the show.

Madison Hu graduated from Columbia University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in creative writing. She is known for her vivacious and exuberant personality, and she enjoys spending time with her dog, Marshmallow.
