Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actress acclaimed for her work in both television and film. She gained national attention in 2004 for her role as Shannon Rutherford in the critically acclaimed television series Lost, remaining a main cast member for the first two seasons and earning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble.

Prior to Lost, her early career included her breakout portrayal of Martha Moxley in the TV movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002—a performance that garnered her a Young Artist Award nomination.

After moving to Los Angeles with her mother, she quickly secured acting opportunities and appeared in several television series, including CSI: Miami, Cold Case, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as early films such as Twelve Mile Road.

Transitioning to film, Maggie Grace won global recognition as Kim Mills, the abducted daughter in the blockbuster action franchise Taken, starring alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised her role in the sequels Taken 2 and Taken 3, showcasing her ability to play dynamic characters in high-intensity situations.
