Megyn Samantha Price was born on March 24, 1971, in Seattle, Washington, and raised in a Mormon household in Norman, Oklahoma. While attending Norman High School, she produced and wrote a play titled "Here Comes the Sun," although she initially viewed acting as an impractical career choice.
At Stanford University, she studied economics and communication, and continued to act in school productions, as well as performing at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. After a brief stint as an investment banker, she decided to pursue acting as a profession.
Megyn Price began her acting career in the early 1990s, making her television debut in an episode of "Quantum Leap" in 1993. She has also made guest appearances on shows such as "Saved by the Bell: The New Class," "Renegade," "The Drew Carey Show," "Will & Grace," and "Drop Dead Diva."
