Raised in a family of psychologists, she grew up alongside her twin brother and three other siblings. Her journey into acting began after her sister married a film writer, prompting her to leave competitive horseback riding and pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Her acting career started with roles in short films such as "Retirement" and "Pani's Box" in 2013. She gained significant recognition for her role as Max Fox in the FX comedy-drama series "Better Things," which aired from 2016 to 2022.

Her portrayal of the sullen teenager Max Fox showcased her ability to bring depth and authenticity to her characters.
