Missi Pyle, born Andrea Kay Pyle on November 16, 1972, in Houston, Texas, is an American actress and singer. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1995.

Her career began with a minor role in the film "As Good as It Gets" in 1997, but she gained widespread recognition for her role in the sci-fi parody "Galaxy Quest" in 1999.

Her career has been marked by a diverse range of roles in both film and television. She has appeared in movies such as "Josie and the Pussycats," "Bringing Down the House," "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Gone Girl," and "Captain Fantastic."
